i just got some arp headstuds but theres a problem 9 of the 10 studs fit in the block fine but the last one goes in half way then stops im afraid to use a allen key and force it in as it might strip the block or is it already stripped??? btw its a b18a motor and the studs are the correct part number

 

Do you have any pictures? check the threads and measure the depth to see whats going on, it could just be the threads are very dirty

 

np pics yet but when i put my head on there was like a inch of gap before the threads so if i put a nut on it wouldnt even seal the head

 

yeah, im guessing its the threads because thats not right at all, it really cant be anythin else
