Default Wireing help anybody?

When installing a aftermarket tach on a vehecle that does not come stock with one, where and what color is the coil wire that I need to wire into my tach? I beleave it is a blue or green wire behind my gauge cluster but is it in one of the harnesses that are currently hooked up to my cluster or is it a wire somewhere in the loom that i need to trace down?

look at a ecu pin out diagram in the faq section and splice into that wire. a tach install is so easy man. and btw i think that if you use the neg. or pos. wire differs between manufacturers but i'm not certant on that one. is that what your trying to find out?
