Who moon cuts valve covers?
I would prefer a moon cut, but cutting the whole side part of that would do fine. I wanted the rounded edge and not a sharp edge from the cut. Know anyone in Florida that can do this?
i would like to know what tool they use to do it with, i mean i know you can use a grinder but i wanted to see if there was anything more accurate.
did you get your car fixed yet?

I would take a piece of card board rough out a template with sissors then lay it over the valve cover mark it with marker cut it with plasma torch then clean it up with grinder to make it as smooth as possible. That is only because the cnc is tied up for a while right now if it wasnt we would make a program and machine it out for the most precision you can get.

It allows you to adjust your cam timing without removing your valve cover. Here's one on Ebay so you can see what we mean:

Speed Styles in Monroe/Matthews/Charlotte, did mine. They even had some in stock to swap out with your old one. It was around $50, for me as well.
take the upper plastic T belt cover off and mark a small mark on ur valve cover where the center of the cam gear bolt is. then take a 4" holesaw on a angled drill and drill the pilot bit at the very top of the plastic piece. then just keep cutting with the hole saw. works awesome. ill look for some pics but i doubt i have any.
