Default Input on turboing a 2001 GSR Civic

O.K. I'm about to buy a Rev Hard stage II turbo kit for my car. I have a Civic with a 2001 GSR swap.

I'll be converting to an obd1 ecu, installing 330cc injectors and then getting it tuned (Hondata) the day that the turbo install is complete. Internals will be stock.

I'm not even going to drive the car from the shop to get it tuned. I'll be getting it towed on a flat bed truck directly from the shop and taking it straight to the Hondata tuner.

I plan on putting at least 250 hp to the wheels.

My question is, what are the chances that my motor will last me a long time (being tuned) with out blowing up?

Is 250whp too much or would I be o.k.??

250 hp should be ok with a good tune. if i were you i'd go with bigger injectors, just in case you have the "turn up the boost" itch . it'd be ok to drive the car to the shop, jus as long as you keep your RPMs out of boosting range.

I dont think those 330's are gonna be able to support your power goal of 250HP. IMO you wanna get injectors that can support at least 50-100 more HP then what your goal is. That will give you some flexibility with the injectors when you are tuning. Plus with larger injectors you can run them at a lower duty cycle.
