Default 2001 GSR TUNED BY JEFF

well after months of staring at this kit...its finally done
Craig at Epic Tuning did the install
Jeff at Evan's Tuning did the tuning
Thank you Jeff and Craig for all your hard work...the car is a blast!
The motor is 100% stock with the addition of an xs-engineering kit. we were going to use the POWER FC that came with the kit...but there was a malfunction and I ended up going with Neptune...and have absolutely no regrets!!!!
The car made 246hp/160tq at 8010. This was at 8 psi on a gt28r
Internal Wastegates ...the internal gate on the garret/avo turbo would hold 4 psi from 3k to around 6400 and then hit full boost of 8 psi from 6500 to redline...ive dubbed it T-TEC...lmao..pretty lame
all in all im very satisfied I came within 4 HP of my goal and the car is absolutely a blast to drive! the issue with the power fc doestn even bother me...as after talking with Jeff I am much more comfortable with the Neptune EMS. plus...with only 4 psi and 8 closer to redline...I can really understand how the power from the turbo actually effects my powerrange..being this is my first time owning a boosted car.

for 8psi on a tiny *** turbo? not really.......thats about right.....1.8L gsr (stock bore/stroke) 160wtq isnt gonna make much more than 246hp......

torque is low...due to the internal wastegate situation being that it only holds 4 psi from 2900 to 6400 or so..then hits 8 from 6500 to redline...really is bugging me but im just enjoying the car
should have made more like 180+ from the dyno graphs of the kit...the hp i made was right on par...the torque was less
the power fc for whatever reason wouldnt start the car...we checked with the commander and all electronic functions were in order...the fuel pump wasnt priming at all..even with the key in the on and acc position...so i ditched it and now have to wait for a "diagnosis"..all in all i just want to get rid of it...im very happy with neptune

I think 180tq on a gsr would yield about 280whp but w/e......
