6x9 speakers won't fit in speaker panels

how do you get 6x9 speakers to fit in the rear speaker panels?

which model?? the coupes you have to take the rear dash cover off and they bolt to the metal underneath.

i have a 92 hatch...when i pry the panel off there is a metal bar in the middle from top to bottom

That's not a speaker bracket. You'll need to:
a)buy a kit
b)make your own bracket out of wood for it.
