Default Where does this plug in ?

Engine is a 2000 SI b16a2, im using a 96-98 EX harness. There is a plug that is on the backside of the engine that has a green wire and a black wire in it and I have no idea what it hooks to. The plug is on both the SI harness and EX harness and im trying to figure out where and what it plugs into. Any help is needed and appreciated.

Heres a few pics.

i'm guessing the secondary O2 sensor. the first on is already on your header. the other one should be on the cat since the wires are reaching that far.

Well, the wires kinda long because the plug was broke on the EX harness so I spliced the one off the SI harness on it. And I dont think its an O2 cause it only has 2 wires and not 4, but i have no clue.

Looks like the sensor that plugs in down by the oil pan, I can't think of the name of it off the top of my head but I do believe that is what it is. Sorry if that didn't help but hopefully someone will see this and fill in the blank I left...Good luck

The plug I'm talking about is routed over the alternator and plugs in right below it.

dont worry about it... when i did my b16a2 swap in my 96 hatch and used a 96-98 harness i had about 3-4 extra plugs left over.. it ran perfect without any codes..

has that harness been modified? It probably goes up to the purge solenoid but its hard to tell. Is that the only thing you dont have plugged in? Wiring really isnt that sensitive. you can throw the engine in and turn on the ignition. if you have the wiring wrong you will get a cel but then it will tell you whats wrong and then you can make adjustments from there. nothing would be damamged.

I am pretty sure it goes to you steering rack for your power steering. I broke the same wire when I pulled my motor. didn't even know it was there.
