How big is too Big ?
how much nitrous is too much ? I am in the process of building a B16 and was wondering if the 100shot of Direct port would be overkill.
alright guys here is a Breakdown of my motor
93 B17a Block
B16 Crank
Eagle H-Beam Rods
Arias Forged Pistons 81.25mm (CR: ~11:1)
99 B16 head (stage 2 P&P, 3deg valves)
Rev SS valves
Rev Ti retainors
Rev high lift springs
Skunk2 Stage 2 Cams
Stage 3 clutch, 9.5 lbs flywheel and LSD
I was planning on a 100 shot Direct port Kit on a Stock B16 manifold. My goal is to get in the 12 secs (without slicks prefered)
this is my daily driver and drivability is Key, also running on 91 octane.
will this work well or will I blow it up the first time I use it.

It is certainly possible, but with nitrous, tuning is the key. When spring comes around, i'll have an 11:1 motor (very similar build- arias 11:1, eagle rods, skunk stg2s, etc) and I plan to spray a 125 shot w/a NOS NOSzle system. -Just be sure to 1) use a multi-spark ignition, like MSD 6AL 2) Retard timing when spray nitrous 3) get the car tuned properly- a hondata/neptune with nitrous control will give you a window switch and can retard your timing for you
-- with 91 octane, 100 shot should be no problem if it's done correctly. - And best of all, the car will be 100% drivable, and reliable (if done correcty).
