Default where do the airvents lead to?

i hear this fluttering noise from the drivers side air vent of my 99 civic, starting at about 3000 rpm. it is only coming from the drivers side and i can only hear it well when im sitting inside the car. i was just wondering where the air vent led to in hopes that i could find the source of this noise. thanks

The source of air under the dash is the fan blower. It is exactly in the middle of the dash right behind the climate controls wedged up against the upper part of the firewall.

Thats weird because most of the cars I've seen have the fan blower mounted on the passenger side behind the glove box, under the dash.

oo so there is only one source for all the vents in the car? that is weird because i would assume that i would be able to hear the noise out of all the vents then, but i can only hear it on the drivers side. the fluttering paces itself with the engine. and strangly seems to get louder as the car warms up. do i have to remove the dash to access the fan/vents?

it might be a leak in the door or the wind buffeting around the windshield, and I'm pretty sure the fan is under/behind the glovebox and it's an air routing mechanism under behind the center of the dash.

The heater core and fan blower. The one with the vents is located in the middle of the dash (fan blower), heater core is on the passenger side.

Well.. most of the car's I've seen.. its the other way around. Heater Core is in the middle of the dash behind the center console/headunit/climate control and the actual blower is on the passenger side behind the glove box.

I've taken my A/C out and I know this for sure is the case in a Civic and Integra. If you look under the hood near the middle of the firewall, you can see that there are coolant lines going into the cabin to the Heater Core, which located in the center behind the dash.

It's true that all the vents lead to the center. But the center isn't where the blower is (at least on my Civic). It goes.. all vents -> heater core (center of dash) -> large tunnel/passage (connects the heater core and blower) -> fan/blower (behind the glove box).

I had the heater core/fan blower names mixed up.

well i took the dash apart and turns out that it wasnt the problem, but its definently a noise coming from the driver side. i checked the belts they are all fine. i dont think its a leak in the door because the sound is there no matter if im going 5mph or 60. it just depends on what rpm im at. but im out of ideas of what it could be... maybe its normal and im tripping? haha no idea
