Default Type-R or Comptech swaybar

I was wondering which is better, the Type-r rear sway bar or the comptech swaybar/tie bar combo, both are 22mm. The Comptech bar costs alot more, but is it better?

the comptech bar is adjustable which is great for tuning, if your doing some auto x or something. type r is more affordable and still great for performance. Now do you think you need the adjustability of the comptech bar?

search for info on the ITR bar.
the ITR you have to use the beaks, or BSQ kit for it to fit. the comptech will bolt right up.

Also look in the road racing forum, there are a few threads there about this same thing.

I have the Comptech kit and am real happy with it. It does have 3 settings, although I have never changed it from the stiffest. Let me tell you it is mighty stiff, I think I could get my inside wheel off the ground in a tight corner. However, there is no question in my mind, that for your money the Type R is the best bang for your buck. If you have some extra dough the Comptech is a great setup.

if you are looking to run a lower brace now or in the future get the Compech. if not, just stick with the ITR bar.

Going with comptech will save you time on the installation, not that it is that hard, but the weld nuts are a bitch and a half to remove.

ITR if you don't do any kind of autocross.

Comptech if you do, you'll need the adjustability.

I'd go with the Comptech, just because it has different settings on the sway bar and it have a tie bar.
