ITR or Comptech
Who makes the better sway? or should i say who has the better sway bar? with the ITR one i will go with the bsq kit and with the Comptech one i will be going with the lower tie combo. and remember that the Comptech one is adjustable.
i have the itr bar with the beaks kit, i think as far as value goes, you can't beat the ITR
, but comptech makes great stuff, so if you can get a deal on one get it.

I have the Comptech rear sway/tie combo, it is awesome and I love it, but the ITR(with BSQ or beaks kit) is a great bang-for-your-buck mod, so if you are on a budget then get it, they both perform great and similarly. Enjoy

I am curious about the Comptech bar myself. I don't mind spending the extra $ if I know it's worth it. The Comptech bar also comes with the lower rear brace, which I think is an added bonus. Anyway, How easy was it to put on? I put a Progress rear bar on my 91 GS and that was somewhat of a pain, mainly the drilling and the welding. From what I have read, the Comptech bar is a straight bolt up, is that so? Could you tell the car was stiffer/had less roll? I realize one mod won't make it handle great, but just wondering what you thought

I understood that the Comptech was WAS a stock ITR bar with a mounting kit (such as BSQs). I got the OEM ITR bar and the rear end is more than stiff enough (it'll step out on command), so i don't see the point in spending twice as much for the same results.

Here's my response. The CT rear sway/tie combo IS a direct bolt-on, NO drilling or welding or anything else required. It is very straightforward and easy to install. I also liked the fact that it came with a rear tie bar that doubles as a very secure platform to bolt the rear sway bar to, and in my opinion this is what justified the price to me. All of the parts needed are supplied and are high quality, instructions included as well which is nice. If you can afford it, then I would get it, it is great and it does improve handing a significant amount as well, reduces body roll a lot, and it is also 3-way adjustable for varying amounts of rear roll-stiffness, although I have it set at the most firm position(suppose to be about 10% more than the ITR bar, medium is suppose to be about equal to ITR stiffness, the 'softest' setting is suppose to be approx 10% less than the ITR bar), I really like all aspects of it when considering the construction, quality, performance and security(it is a bit pricey but hey its worth it IMO). Enjoy
