Default Radiator GURUS: 2 Nipples at bottom, what for?

My eg 1/2 size rad just came in the mail via UPS, cracked her open, noticed the standard upper/lower huge rad fittings, coolant cap, drain plug....

But theres also 2 little nipples at the bottom of the rad that when you blow into one the air comes out of the other hole and knowwhere else

I dont feel like leaving the building to check to see if my car (crx oem rad) has these as well, just wonderring if you guys could tell me what they were for

THanks

It's for cooling the automatic transmission. If you have a 5spd then don't worry about them, they carry no pressure in them. My friend had this same concern. I don't know if you have to cap them or not.

they are for an auto trans cooler. they arent used in a manual application. they keep costs down by making one that fits all.

*EDIT* damn typos
