Default Just changed MTF. some questions/

after about 2 months of notchy shifting and a lot of grinding due to low ammounts of tranny fluid, i finally got time to change it.

i heard a lot of people say when they have notchy shifting, after the fluid change, it feel much better. but when i changed my tranny fluid, it still feels notchy. can this be problems of worn out syncros?

another question i have is that i didnt torqe down the bolts to the correct specs. i just tightened them down till i couldnt anymore. is this a problem?

Thanks

are you running any type of short shifter? Does it grind into gear while shifting @ high RPM's?

If you have a Short shifter, that can be the problem, because they usually feel more knotchy than stock.

If it's the other problem I stated above, or both... then it's your synchros gone/going bad.

I think you need like 500 miles or something before you can tell the benefits of the Syncromesh if you will feel any at all.
