Last minute advice, purchasing intercooler bends
I'm about to order the pipes for my intercooler this way i can get them fabricated already. I'm running a t3 turbo, with a JRC 6" intercooler.
I'm going to use 2.25 OD piping from the compressor side to the intercooler, and 2.5 OD from the other side to the intake manifold.
Would 2 U bends, and a straight pipe be enough from the compressor to intercooler?
And another 2 U bends and a straight pipe to the intake manifold?
Also, I plan on having my downpipe fabricated as well, so I'm thinking another 2 U bends for that. Help me out here.

im getting my downpipe fabricated as well for my t3. i bought 2 90 degree bends, looks like that could work too.
When I made my IC pipes I orderd 4 2.5 OD ubends, and I ended up having two left over. You can get away with one from the turbo to ic, and one for the ic up into the engine compartment. I used the top pipe from my old greddy kit when I put my intercooler in though.
most cars i have done use 4 for the intercooler piping and 1 for the downpipe. i always get the u-bends as they are a better value than the 90's. jc whitney has the best prices on them. i would run 2.5" all the way to make things easier.
i use 1/2 a bend to get the compressor outlet pointed towards the drivers side, 1 complete u bend to wrap around to the intercooler, 1/2 a bend to come out of the intercooler and face backwards, 1/2 a bend to run upwards though the air intake hole in the frame, 1/2 a bend to get it pointed towards the throttle body and a small degree of a bend to straighten it out into the throttle body. i usually build the lower intercooler pipe as 1 piece and the upper as 2 seperate pieces with the connector by the air intake hole. i don't ever have to buy any straight pipe as when you trim the bends down you end up with enough extra long enough straight pieces that you don't need to buy any.
