questions on intercooler piping before/after intercooler..........
i'm trying to find the pros/cons of different diameter piping before and after my intercooler. i have a t3 .42/.48 garrett turbo on a stock b18a. does having larger piping after the intercooler affect spool, and what are the pro/cons of this?
thanx for the help.

Depends on your HP goals, smaller piping will limit the amount of air being forced through the pipes but will increase the velocity that it flows. Larger piping (2.5") will flow more air but at a slower speed. I personally dont feel the need for 2.5" pipes unless you are around 450+hp.

little T3, stock non vtec engine, i think that a 2" pipe between turbo and fmic, and 2.25" or 2.5" for fmic to intake is good.
for information, 2.25" before fmic and 2.5" after fmic, is good for 400whp.
