depends on what year you buy the b16 from. Which one are you getting?

hey the swap will bolt right up and if you find out the obd on your car and the motor match them up and you will have to run 2 wires to the ecu and all the others will match up just pluggin them in

then that is obd0, youll have to do the whole wiring harness and all that....just get a obd1 and then youll be ok, im sure they are around the smae price

*edit* my d16z6 has 264k miles on it and i give it hell, so yours should still be good for awhile

To do a 88-91 b16 is a waste of time and it will end up costing you more cash in the long run. Here are some reasons why

1. You will have to do a hydro to cable conversion (not sure on price)
2. You will have to rewire almost the whole wire harness or at least the wires to the ecu
3. The speed sensor will be wrong and you will have to recalibrate the speed sensor
4. It is illegal to do a swap and go back in years (at least it is here in WI)

That's what I was told when I wanted to do a 88-91 b16 swap in my del sol, so when I did my b16 swap I pieced it togeather. Got hooked up with a b16 block for 150 (jdm), head for 450, intake mani for 150, Type R dizzy for 150 (brand new), so about total I spent like 1900 on my swap and no, none of the stuff was "hot", just got lucky.
