Default IT-R swap problems into ek

i just put a 98 IT-R in my ek civic. i have a crankshaft postion and a engine coolant temp code. all of a sudden my car won't rev past 3k rpm and when i was driving it, it just died and would start for a minute or so. also does anyone know if you have to put the crankshaft fluctuation wires into the distributor to clear the ckp code. please help.

its in limp mode causing you not to rev past 3k

the ckp sensor is at the bottom by the crank, its either bad or off aligned

the CPS "Crank Position Sensor" and CFS "Crank Fluctuation Sensor" are both different and both are found on OBD2 cars/ecu's the CPS is only on OBD1 cars located inside the distributor. CFS is the one above the crank.

Sooo, assuming its the CFS, he has to be running on a OBD2 ECU. Convert to OBD1 with a reprogrammed ECU and that code is gone...

If its the CPS, its in the distributor, basically its new dizzy time! Or you might be able to salvage a CPS from another dizzy provided its b-series and of the same OBD.

Coolant temp, check all your wiring and the plug/sensor for conection. I just went through a problem like that with my CRX.
