Mine worked on my cx.

But after the swap it stopped working cause i changed ecu. You have to have the stock ecu for the up-shift light to work. It's programmed in the ecu.

AFAIK the CX and VX had them. it worked fine on my VX till my swap. my P30 doesn't have the ability to turn it on.

there has to be some wires that you can splice into or run to make it work....anyone?

dood, they just said that its programmed with the ECU. now, if you dont have the CX or the VX ECU, then it WONT WORK! theres nothing you can do to make it work but the ECU. no splicing wires, no nothing. plus why whould you want that thing on anyways? coz if you do change to CX or VX ecu, its just gonna light up at 2500-3000 RPM. its pretty anoying.

wierd my 93 CX didnt have the light.... but i suppose you could that if you did have it in your cluster, you can hook up a rpm-activated switch (like a MSD or something) to light up the bulb so you can have a well concealed shift light

Just by an after market tach light and hook it up if you don't have a cx or vx.
They're annoying IMO my friend has one and the bright amber light gets on my nerve lol
