Sun Auto Hyper Ground System ....is it worth it?
i have used them on my ITR and S2000, and i think its worth it. It will improve throttle response, increase a little hp and torque, give you better gas mileage, brighter headlights, and a better sounding stereo.
After installing just two ground wires on my car, my friend noticed my headlights were brighter. After driving my car around, i could tell there was an increase in performance. I also noticed that the electrical system felt like it had more juice. For instance, after putting the ground wires on, i noticed the digital speedometer would refresh mph faster with less lag in between.
Many people will say they don't do anything, but these are the same people that don't have them on their car. It's been dyno proven, and after using them, i would recommend them to others.

dyno results are not hard to find. sun auto, buddy club, and apex (voltage stabilizer not ground wires) all have dyno charts on their websites. i haven't seen the hks circle earth ground wire dynos, but its basically very similar. i remember on the sun auto hyper ground system box, it had a dyno chart of a 98 integra type r gaining 5ps and i forgot how much torque.
sure, np. After getting ground wires, I still want a voltage stabalizer to keep the battery and electrical system fully charged. the voltage stabalizers will also yield hp gains on a dyno.

i hear grounding kits are worth the cash, but you only see the #'s when you set them up on a dyno.
supposedly there is a right and wrong place to ground wires, and certain points will increase the power.

Honda, and many companies just do what is necessary when grounding to save costs. Mitsubishi has started adding thicker pure copper ground wires as a performance accesory to the EVO's (for more $), so that just shows you that the manufacturers recognize this.

I can see other cars needeing better grounds, such as a Civic or something. My g/f Si's lights dim if I hit the window switch. That could benifit from a ground. I'd like to see proven statistics on a S, which is grounded very well.

After looking at s2000 ground wires, and comparing them to the sun auto ground wires, i can tell you there is a huge difference in thickness of the wires itself. plus the materials of sun auto's wires are much better yielding 10 times less impedance then the stock system. civics, integras, and s2000's basically use the same ground wires stock.
