hyper ground system?
Its not going to give you HP, not anything worth noting.
If you have an old and worn ground system, and a lot of electronics, you might want to clean your contact points or go to larger gauge wires. But I wouldn't spend the cash for an expensive system like this, especially when you can make your own for less than $50.

seems like it's worth it.
they tested it over at the nissan forums

Every dyno I have seen has shown some sort of gain... whether its 1hp for only a few thousand rpms, on up to 5hp throughout the entire graph.
And as for making your own kits, like someone else said before, if you're going to make your own kit, make sure your copying the exact points of a professional kit, so you dont get ground interference and such.

I could make a dyno showing that putting a roasted chicken sandwhich in your engine makes a gain
As far as 1hp somewhere, dynos are not extremely consistant. You run a car on a dyno 3-4 times and the numbers are never going to be exactly the same all the way through the rpm band.
If you are spending more than $50 for thick cables and ring terminals you are getting ripped off.

dynometers aren't as constant as math, it's variable. thats why you do more than a few runs.

Point is though, if its only $8 to make your own kit, like it was for mine, why the **** not?

IMO those grounding kits are just looks although they do make your car run a little smoother and idle better but like everyone said, isn't worth it to dish out more than 50 bucks on it and besides make it a DIY project
Those gains can be attributed to the ever changing atmosperic conditions, that is why every dyno run is different. A grounding kit cannot 'make' power. All it does is ground electricity so your motor operates as it should. No matter how thick the wire or how much "BETTER" it is, and I use the term "BETTER" loosely, you cannot make power from grounding wires. Not worth the bucks.
Can you prove this? It's been proven to make sensors read more accurately, thus letting the engine operate correctly and more efficiently. Ground wires are a big thing among the subaru croud, as if fixes a huge power gap around 2000-2500 rpm. It really does depend on the application, and they do have a benefit. But like everyone else said, just make and copy a pro kit and DIY.

i dunno...i got a 94 gsr......w/ 161k on it.....i have a couple grounds that look like CHIT! wires are fraying, etc.......i think in my case, some new ground wires would help!!!
You may see a HP gain with the Ground (earthing) System , simply because you are increasing electrical efficency...
Thus , the idle will be a little smoother, start up will be alot faster, Light will be brighter ...
But a huge HP gain ....NO ...
If you gain +1 hp is the most if your lucky ....but definantly nothing your going to feel ....
Is it worth it ...... NO ..
is it worth making it yourself ....YES ....

Here are some links and pics from the Sun Auto Hyper Ground Kit site.
I got the Gold wires on my car and I cant feel a difference but car starts up better, and my HIDs warm up faster and are brighter now.
My friend put one in his turbo Gsr teg and it gained like 2hp and 4lbs. torque from when we dynoed it before and after the install of the ground kit. I heard the ground kit is better for turbo cars.
hope this helped...
