RSX with 18s
i'm on the stock ones ( 7 spoke acura oem optional ones) now, and i'm planning to go to some 18 inch volks this summer. my suspension is mugen ss. does anyone know if i will need front/rear camber kits when i swap my rims/tires? any feedback is appreciated. thanks.
oh i see.
when i went to just tires to get my alignment, the guy was asking if i was planning to go to bigger tires. i told him yeah. then he went on and on about me might needing a camber kit or lower control arms depending on the rim/wheel i get.
i've read on other threads that i should be alright (in terms of camber), so no harm no foul.
thanks for the feedback. this really helped

Spacers are different from camber kits. spacers are placed on the back of the rim that to give the rim a different offset (to have the rims sit out farther out). Camber kits is to straighten the angle the wheels sit verticially up and down. Part of the alignment. If you lower the car and don't get camber kits it causes the inside thread of the tires to wear more than the outside.
