alignment and camber ??

Default alignment and camber ??

OK im plannig to swap out my steelies for some rotas and tires real soon. my question is.....should i get a camber kit or new a-arms....no camber kit or a-arms....and if so should i get and alignment before or after the install of the camber kit, a-arms, wheels tires.??? in what order shall i complete my wheel tire upgrade. thanx and please no

I would recommend you install the new rims/tires and then go get an alignment and see if they are able to adjust if you have any negative camber.

It mainly depends on what your suspension set up is, if you have sway bars, coilovers/springs, how much you are dropped, that type of deal. Every car is different. If you have negative camber, that is easily fixed by adding washers to the trailing arm bolted to the sub frame.

As for the front, that can be adjusted by the lower control arm as well, but to an extent.

If you have over -3° of camber, then a camber kit would be needed in order to adust properly, but have the alignment shop give you the specs of the camber/toe adjustment and such.

well said by poison... if your **** is slammed then plan on getting a camber kit. In which youll need a camber adjustment and alignment!

have an alignment done after you put everything suspension wise on including tires and wheels

i have a 93 EG with TEIN SS. im planning on getting some 16's and ive been told i should get a camber kit installed frist and then get rims and tires that way i can have unlimited drop options ...true...how much does an alignment and camber adjustments usually cost..THANX

i just dont want to be runnin around on new rims and tires with fucked alignment and camber wearing them out prematurely..i dunno

my buddy says to just new a-arms which are the same or and the same price as camber kits and will leave me with better options for adjustments..? THANX
