I'm looking into buying a kamikaze header and I noticed that they come in three different finishes. Is there any advantages of the silver ceramic coating over the polished finish and the black coating? or is it just for looks? The silver cermaic coating is a bit more expensive than the other two so i got me wondering.

 

it depends on exactly what kind of ceramic finish it is.i know some companies that do coating claim the ceramic finishes retain heat which could lead to a small performance gain.

honestly,i'd put price as the first priority,and looks second.i definitely wouldn't buy the coated header for more money not knowing if it performed better or not.unless they can provide proof of a substantial gain,i'd go with the lower priced,better looking header.
