Default I have a accordperformance head package and now i want to add nitrous

I have a 94 vtec accord. I have the accordperformance.com performance package. It consists of the ported and polished high compression cylinder head big bore throttlebodie hi performance camshaft. It gave me 50 hp. Now i want to add nitrous. I drive 100 miles aday so i need my car to stay dependable. I was thinking about getting a 50 or 75 shot and would like to know what brand is the best

I gaurantee you got max 18whp from that headwork. I would not use nitrous. If you must use it, go with nitrous express, you can set it up so nitrous is only sprayed when you are at WOT in 1st and 2nd.

They claim its 45hp at the wheels. I dunno, but I don't think any of us are in a position to tell for sure. Just because its not a turbo doesn't mean it doesn't give you good power

it will not give 45 hp to the wheel. if it was that easy we would all have f22's putting down more power to teh ground than h22a's.

I wish someone would actually put one of those head packages on and go dyno it so we know what it ACTUALLY makes.

Ummm...I thought spraying in 1st is not recommended? Zex offers WOT nitrous too but their systems are rather weaksauce from what ive been hearing.

Its not cheap, I was looking into that package before I decided on h22-turbo. I'm not saying it does make 45whp extra. I'm saying for y'all to dismiss it without even knowing is ridiculous. The company claims 45whp, we'll never know without a dyno sheet, but just because we don't know doesn't mean its not true.

well from what i know its not true. sure i ahvent dynoed it, but makign 50 hp with 1200-1450 all motor its a damn near steal. maybe you dont do this for a living but i do....and 50 hp for that cheap is amazing. 50 hp the ground on a 125hp to the ground engine is more powerful than most h22a's that are stock. and its cheaper than just about any serius power gainer except nitrous.
so until someone offers PROOF its all bull ****.

Well, the figures they state are likely a comparison of a stock motor and one that has been fully built along with their head package. I just don't see 195 hp ever coming out of an F22 w/o some serious compression and tuning. If it were that easy, I'd ditch the H, call up Gude, and go find some easy money at the races.

heh we just need a little rich person to go try it out for us to see if its true.

Also in an old issue of Super Street they did a Gude performance package(head, cam, throttle body) and they were very impressed by it and they recommended it. But maybe we will find out one day....

ive never heard of them doing ppor work....just have horrible customer service and REALLY big claims that noone can verify or vouch for....200hp at the crank NA on a 2.2L 9:1 compression motor is not easy by any means

Most WOT nos setups are 1st and 2nd, to get you going at 100% throttle. Maybe Im wrong.

I've heard some claims on the head package to net you about 20-25 hp at the wheels. Nothing to sneeze at, but definitely not worth the price.
