please help me identify this pill. Its out of a NOS brand kit and all it says one the pill is 040 I dont want to assume it is a 40 pill which is what like a 80ish shot? any help would be great thanks

 

Is it wet or dry? If wet I would say its the nitrous side for a 75 shot. Dry I have no clue

For the dry kits it is as follows:

50 HP: 0.032/0.042T
60 HP: 0.034/0.042T
70 HP: 0.036/0.042T
85 HP: 0.045/0.042T

So the 0.040 is about an 75-80 HP shot. The "T" is the bypass tee that you hook up between the nitrous solenoids to the fuel regulator.

And you do mean "jets" not pills, correct.
