Default Second set of injectors on top of the Stock 4...yes that means 8 total

OK so here is my theory... what if I were to get a second set of injectors that only went on at a certain RPM. Lets pretend that getting them to fire at the right time and all that really legistical stuff was not a problem, would i get more power with the extra gas being shot down the intake runners or would i just run really rich and flood the engine?

No, you wouldn't get any more power. As you said, you would simply run extremely rich. If your engine needs more fuel because of modifications that you've performed, invest in larger injectors and some sort of engine management to tune them.

some high end fuel managments can control secondary injectors the victorx mani comes with secondary ports for extra injectors on the underside of the runners .but you should just invest in some good injectors that are big enough for your app. if its gas mileage your worried about i still get 28-30 mpg with 1000cc injectors on my 84.5mm b20 vtec

You could look at the Edelbrock manifold that they use for their turbo system. There is an "extra" set (4) injectors on the underside.

The thing is; if you are putting out a lot of horsepower and try to get the fuel through the stock injectors, they will hit a "duty cycle" limit. This is where they can't stay open long enough. So, you could change to larger injectors.

This is a good solution with a race engine, but on a street engine the larger injectors may not function well at idle.

The idea on using dual injector sets is that the primary set is for low RPM and the secondary set is for supplemental fuel at high RPM (or under boost).

I think the reason that Edelbrock does the secondary set is due to the requirements of haveing a CARB legal turbo kit. The un-modified ECU still runs the primary injectors. Then they have a control unit that when under boost works the secondary set.
