Default Check Engine Light came on.... Code 7

I just got a check engine light last night after picking up my new (used) car from someone off of here. It is throwing a code 7, Throttle position sensor...

It's a B16b in a 99 DX hatchback, what should I do to fix it, it's really annoying being in LIMP mode.. No VTEC, idles at 1500... etc.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

check the voltage of the tps, should be .5v closed and 4.5v wide open, on jdm motors its pretty easy to adjust or replace the tps

to adjust loosen the bolts on the TPS and turn until you get the above voltages, if you can not get it to spec replace it. you can probably get a used cheap in the classifieds on here or JDM engine importer.

good luck.....hope this helps
