Default Time for new clutch " i hope" :(

Last night my clutch went out, "I hope". I have no pressure in the clutch
pedal and it wont go in any gear. The clutch pedal is all the way to the
floor. And the reservoir is full of fluid. The previous day I though my
clutch was acting funny like it was slipping and then catching but I had
never experience that before, so I didn't know it that was the case. Well
last night after shifting to second. Nothing happened, it wouldn't go into
any gear, I finally got it into 2nd after 15 min of messing with it, I drove
it home like that. Its the original clutch with 80k miles on it.
Is this the clutch or the transmission? I hope its the clutch!

I guess my LSD, clutch and flywheel combo will come sooner than I thought.
You guys have any ideas on clutch's and flywheels?

Yeah it's the clutch. How much power are you putting to the flywheel?

Last time it was dynoed it was 176 to the wheels.

WTF is up i also posted this on preludeonline.com under general discussion!!

here is some more info>>>>>>>>>>

Okay now this is weird i just got home and check out my car.

1. the car now goes through all the gears (didnt do that last night)
2. the clutch pedal now does not go all the way yo the foor there is pressure ALOT of it. therefore not alllowing me to turn the car on!!
3. Malkin i checked the Y arm and it moves but no engagement of the clutch.
So i guess i can rule out ranny probem. Im gonna bleed the clutch, and check the slave cyl. and hopefully that will let me know my next plan of attack.

Any input welcome
Evan

When I blew the clutch in my civic, I actually popped a spring out of place. if you did the same the spring could be lodged in there, causing you to feel the extra pressure and to not be able to start your lude.

You'd just need a stage 1 street clutch then, unless you planned on boosting it soon. Here's a link to a "Which clutch/flywheel should I get?" post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=104902s

Check your throwout bearing, you'll need to take out the tranny to get to it though.

yeah definately bleed the slate cylinder or master, it sounds like there is a leak, but the fluid should be draining out, so check the cltuch fliud real soon.

So it could be a pressure plate, spun disc, slave cly. dammit

Well yesterday i manage to start the car and i could not get it into any gear still. But while the car was ON the clutch pedal was all the way to the floor. So i am getting confused here. I still have yet blead the clutch fluid, since class took up my time after work, but ill figure it out and let you know.
