i hit a red light the other night.

i stopped, put it in first and start to go.

driving NORMALLY not even passing 3k rpm, i put it in second, and go. at about 1500 rpms, the engine just has like NO power, like i just paused. the revs stay still, and suddenly a few seconds later, it catches.

anyone know the problem?

i KNOW its not the clutch

 

check the connection on the map sensor, i have had the sensor connections drop like flies on my friends jdm gsr swap from corrosion. it is some nasty jdm corrosion too. all green and nasty. the car never threw a c.e.l. or anything like that so it was hard to diag. but make sure all your sensor connections are good and clean.

 

Check your grounds and ICM.
