Help! My car won't stop squeeking!
I've been trying to figure out what's causing this horrid squeeking noise in my car, but no luck so far
I own a 2000 SiR, and the rear of my car squeeks when I drive over bumps and imperfections in the road. Funny thing is, I can't replicate the problem when the car isn't moving -- only happens when I drive, no matter how much I jump up and down in my trunk
Now, I've heard it can be something as simple as bushings needing some lube to my sunroof. And no, it's not the shocks.
Either way, it's loud, and it's coming from my rear deck. Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem?

I've got the same thing...coming from my rear when I go over bumps and driveways. I'm hoping it's just the bushings that need lubing, but I havent had a chance to test that yet. I'll let you know if I get to do it soon.
Check the rear lower trailing arm bushings. Mine look like they are shredded pretty bad and when I go over a bump I hear a *clunk* from that area of the car.
something in the rear of my coupe squeaks all the time and its not even on rough roads, its all the time and nevr consistent or anything. just random squeaks all the time I'm driving.
