Default Assembly lube

Is it absolutely necessary to apply assembly lube to new cams when you put them in?

I sell a graphite-based, high-pressure assembly lube for $6.95 per tube. Works great. I use it on bearings, rod bolts, cams, etc.

I just used oil and Skunk said oil is fine but I was just checking.

Hey, HX Guy, I'm going back to the dyno next mon. with some adjustments and some more tuning I'll send you the results. The cams pull much harder now since I added the fpr and 2.5 exhaust. I also move the cam settings to +2, +2 and it seems to like it better.
