I wired a Viper 791xv into my 1991 civic. I used backup battery DEI 520t. My only question is....I have a prox sensor wired, so the blue wire in the main harness is already being used. I need to wire in the blue wire from the battery backup...do I wire it to the blue wire from the main harness using a diode? If so, what size diode and which way do i face the "band?"

if yiou want to diode isolate the wires have the bands go away from the alarm brain(have the bands go towards the car). as far as sizes od diodes you might be ok with 1 amp or 3. not 100% sure but the size but am certin bout the bands of diodes. hope that helps.
