Default How to wire my sub

I just got the sub that you guys recommended me (Rockford Fosgate P312D4) I running a Alpine MRD-M500 amp and i wnat to know how to wire the sub. Im looking at the instructions and have no clue.
Do i wire it (4 ohm DVC speaker = 2 ohm Lead) or
( 2 ohm DVC Speaker = 4 ohm Lead)?

Ok, this is pretty simple. Your amp produces peak power at 2ohms so you will want to wire you sub to a nominal 2 ohms.

Basically, since you have a DVC 4 ohm sub. If you wire the two coils in parallel, it would get you 2 ohms. To do this, take the positives from both coils, connect to the positive of the amp. Take the negatives from both coils, connect to the negative on the amp and that's.
