alarm question?

Default alarm question?

i had to cut my ground wire for the alarm because i couldnt get it to shut off well long story but to reconnect the wire do i need to sauder or just can i use electrical tap and put them together??? also if the wire is now to short can i just add extra wire to it and just sauder it all together???? need help please i cant have my good system in my car very long with the alarm not working. comments pls lata.

solder the ground wire, you can add wire since it's cut short, just try to keep it as short as possible.

thanks for the help i was pretty sure thats what you needed to do but can you just add any kind of wire or what kind do you need??????(like speaker wire or what??)

try to use the same thickness wire, whatever the gauge may be, worse comes to worse you can use speaker wire but i'd tie the two wire together.
