Having prob with H22A swap in EK civic
I'm having problems with my EK with H22A swap. I'm running 98 Accord Type R engine in my EK with and adapter, so I could use the obd1 p13 ecu. I think I have everything hooked up right but when I use the obd1 p13 ecu, the car doesn't have Vtec and does not idle right. Someone told me that this could be because of the injectors, and I should try running obd1 injectors...is this true. Right now I'm running AEM stand alone and the vehicle runs ok, but eats alot of gas. I would like to see if I could run obd1 p13 but cannot get it to run right...and info would help. Thank you in advance

Beat me to the punch.

The p13 ecu needs a resistor box on the injectors to work properly. I hope you didnt fry your ecu. I know if your ecu uses saturated injectors and you put peak and hold injectors in your ecu is toast.

Or if you want to go the cheap route you can run 4 10ohm 10 watt inline resistors with those yellow black wires that go to the injecors.
