is it possible to weld brass to aluminum?

Default is it possible to weld brass to aluminum?

i was planning to get a Brass barb welded onto my oil pan for an oil return line. can you weld brass to aluminum? thanks


edit- is a b-series oil pan steel or aluminum?

if cast steel, can you weld brass on cast steel?

B series pans are stamped steel. Just use a steel fitting
