b16 rex with jdm 4-1 itr header

Default b16 rex with jdm 4-1 itr header

I installed a jdm 98 integra r header, this ****** sits so close to the oil pan , what steps should i take to not melt my bearings?? thermal wrap, oem heat shields??? anyone else hack a good amount of the crossmember for this mod??

I am interested as well. About to throw a DC Sports JDM 4-1 on my B16A1 CRX.

A good friend of mine ran DC 4-1 for about a year on his '90 CRX/B16 with no issues. However, he did notch the cross-member slightly for clearance. Prolly not as much as you cause he did not have the 2.5" collector.

I got the 4-1 jdm type R on my rex and I highly dont recommend it on a very low car. The crossmember is nothing but the clearance to the ground is too much but well worth the power once u pass 5k rpms.

crossmember -have to notch to clear header
-sits way low
-this header is a beast need a special donut gasket and flange at http://www.inlinefour.com
good power though
