Ok i've been researching the JDM dc 4-1 header for quite some time now and i have yet to come up with true real answers, if anyone could help if would be greatly appriciated.

-Do they make a JDM dc header 4-1 for the B16 (JDMHONDAPARTS.com) says they do??

-How much lower will the b18 4-1 JDM DC header hang on my b16??

-Anyone have pics of a JDM dc sports header on a b16?

---Can anyone gie me some answers to these questions it would be greatly appriciated..

my buddy is running the 4-1 on his 00 SI... its pretty slammed and he hasn't scraped it because of clearance. I will be buying it off him soon... its a really nice piece with the heatshield. and his is re-welded on the outside to open it up some.

DC JDM 4-1 fits ITR/GSR/B16. The ITR and B16 heads are made from the same casting (PR3). It does sit pretty low; my Civic is lowered about 1.5" and my header has the marks to prove it. Here is the header on my Civic when it had a B16 head on an LS block.

Just think of it this way: Since all 4 primaries run into one, there will be 2 pipes below the normal row of 2 like your factory manifold or 4-2-1 header has. You are looking at about a 1.5" lower hang than the stock exhaust manifold.

my crap hit all the time and wiped the lower two tubes (like 50%) narrowed. they will hang down lower on a b16 motor since the deck height is 20mm lower...

i'm getting my car back today. i'll post up "under car" pictures of how low it hangs.

it doesn't look too bad. my exhaust actually hangs lower than the header.

I also have this header on my b16a eg, It does hang quite low. My car is lowered almost 2 inches and it will scrape real easy if you arnt carefull pulling out of driveways etc... Mine is pretty banged up on the bottom two pipes. I dont get out of work till after dark, so I can try to post some pics of it under the car tomorrow.

alright... sorry that took so long.

one thing you don't want to do if you get the stainless header, is finger it all up. the oil on your hands will make the metal turn a purple/blue color instead of the goldish color. after you install it, wipe it off with a rag and some water with mild soap. here are the pics.

this was taken after about an hour and a half of driving.



and here's a pic of low it hangs. this is a B18C in my '92 Si with a 2" drop and 5zigen Fireball exhaust. stock wheels and tires.



if you notice to the left, in the rear, my exhaust hangs lower than the header.
