I just installed a Drag III turbo on my car and I sem to be running EXTREMELY rich, there is black crap on the bottom of the WG when I took it off plus there is some smoke coming out the back. The idle jumps up and down about 200-300rpm, what would cause this? I have the two hoses and the iat sensor(that went into the original intake pipe) not hooked into anything. Would this have anything to do with it?

 

The black stuff is normal it's just carbon.As far as the exhaust what color is the smoke?

 

It's kinda hard to tell from the smoke coming out of the back, but the smoke coming from the WG in the engine bay seems to have a blackish tent to it and smells like fuel so I assume it's running rich. I'm afraid it might get so thick that it would start to cake up in my engine though.
