Oh No, I lost something......**PIC**
I was replaceing my injector O-rings tonite and happen to notice that one of the orangeish colored caps, that seem to be like a screen was missing from injector #4 The other 3 injectors had them, and are fine, but I must have dropped that one out when I change over my Intake Manifold a month back(changed back to stocker).
Is it important that I get one, and what does it do.
My fuel economy went down 100 miles on a tank from 350 to 250 just after changin my manifold as well.....Could that have anything to do with it?
Is this something to worry about?????

I believe those are the filter baskets. I'm pretty sure that you should be using them. You can go down to a NAPA or some other parts store and get replacements.
No kiddin, I thought for sure those would be included in ONLY an injector.
I'm gonna get on that ASAP....
Any other suggestions gents

AMybe call RC engineering or someplace like that where they 'balance' and rebuild injectors. Ask them if they can sell you a few.

I dont mean to hi-jack your thread, but what kind of shop can test injectors? I nabbed some out of a integra at the junkyard. I want to make sure they are good before using them.

groundedcivic91- Look in Marren's fuel injector accessories page: http://www.injector.com/fuelin...747ee The injector filter basket is part of the injector seal kits they sell. That's the last line of defense for anything that the fuel filter didn't catch.
