Default Quick question on injector install

I just put in my RC 550s in my RH intake manifold and I'm concerned about the gap between the injector and injector hole. Here's two pics of the injectors installed.

Are those gaps normal?

Thanks in advance

I can't really see the gap that you are refering to in the photos.

I recently put a Skunk2 intake manifold on a GSR motor that I'm putting together. I didn't have a complete GSR intake to help figure out things. Here is what I found out;

At the manifold side of the injector there should be the seal and also a spacer. When I had RC clean and rebuild the injectors that I had, they included new seals that go on the top of the injector.

The factory manual shows a spacer that goes between the fuel rail and the manifold, so I ordered some (three). It ended up that I didn't need them and if I used them the fuel rail wouldn't have fit sung on the injectors.

Without the fuel rail spacers, there was a minor amount of compression on the injector seals when tightening down the fuel rail nuts. (about 1/8")

If this doesn't make sense, go to this page and see the photos that I took; http://www.performanceforum.co....html

If it still doesn't make sense, call up RC and talk to them.

do they leak..if not..then there fine.

if they do, you can probably remove the small spacers that go on the studs that u use to bolt the fuel rail on.
