In 3rd and 4th gear (those are the ones I noticed), my psi rises from about 5psi to close to 10psi slowly at WOT.

Is this considered "spiking?" I let off after I saw it get close to 10psi. I never did this before and I haven't boosted hard since then cuz I'm scared. I have the Drag III kit with the Deltagate.

welcome to the world of the deltagate, aka pos. mine did the same thing when i was racing at about 110, the second i shifted into fith the wastegate dident open fast enough. bye bye pistons, rings and cyl walls. get rid of that pos fast, get a tial. my turbonetics delta did that all the time. i will never trust one again. and the bad thing is that i was warned by almost everyone in this forum.

 

If you're running a deltagate, that is their common problem of boost creep. Get a tial, get rid of your worries.

 

the drag manifold is also crap. w/ the wg on only one runner it doesn't get enough flow.

 

yep, i hit vtec and watch it slowly rise.. 3" thermal and no cat doesn't help the drag manifold either
