boost creep help
i got a 99si with a drag kit....drag mani and deltagate wg....is it true these 2 parts causes boost creep?? can i just buy a 38mm tial wastegate and will it solve the problem?
exactly what slow poke said....its not the wastegate but more the wastegate placement on the drag manifold. See on your manifold it only comes off of one runner where as on a rev-hard per say it comes off all of them.
my friend has the exact same kit on his b18 he has no boost creep....so you guys sayin its where the wg is loacated???? i seen this picture of a drag manifold....and it had like an extension for the w/g and it was out of the way from cylinder 1....u guys think that would help too
oh yeah i have the kit.......its on and everythang but just not tuned....i bought a 3.64spring and it stays at 4 but when i hit high rpm it creaps up to 8-14psi but i was hoping for the tial w/g to help it out

your problem lies in bold.
its actually the combination, but a tial should fix it.

You need to adjust the screw at the top of the w/g. Tighten it. Then try it out. That is your problem. Or just get a Turbo Smart or Tial
