Default Cluster Swap done!

I finally did my cluster swap. Nothing too special, it's from an EX and it had indiglo gauges on it so that was an extra hurdle (yes I kept them, no I'm not into flashy rice stuff, but I really wanted white gauges and didn't want to spend double for JDM).

So this post is to show the new gauges and to thank everyone who posts any information on this forum because they helped me immensely in the swap and I'm sure in any future projects as well.

One very informative post showed how to roll back the odometer (since I wanted to keep the white gauge faces and not have to remove the needle) but that didn't seem to apply to the 95 DX/EX odometers I had sitting in front of me.

They had plastic melted after they were put in place to prevent anyone from manipulating them without hassle or evidence. I could roll back the miles but very slowly and when you're looking at 30k difference it would take me all week! So I pulled the needle and swapped the odometers themselves. I think I have the needle close to accurate but I'll probably have to pace someone I know to see how close it truly is. (***any advice would be awesome***)

I also painted the needles orange so they would stand out from the white faces better and I think it looks really good that way. The indiglo actually matches the USDM lighting scheme with the rest of the components (blue tones).

Thanks again Honda-Tech contributors.

It wasn't too bad solely because of the posts on the board where I learned...

1) Indiglo should tap into the Red/Black wire and ground to the body

2) How to swap the odometers / remove needles, because there is no way I would have pulled so hard on that needle if people didn't post that it just really really hard the 1st time.

3) The hidden screw behind the emergency blinkers

Those three things, especially the 1st two could've made it nearly impossible to do the swap if I didn't know about it.
