JDM Guage cluster swap

JDM Guage cluster swap
Ok, I have a 95 dx coupe. I want to add a tachometer, but dont necessarily want to look at one of those monster 5" tachs, so I was looking at the JDM SiR cluster, to swap in. Since its JDM, doesnt the odometer read in Km instead of Miles. My question is: Since it is being swapped into a USDM car, will it then read in Miles, because the ecu isnt reading kilomteres....? or am I just better off sucking it up and buying an aftermarket tach. ??? Im concerned about the odometer, because i want everything to match up, so i accurately know when the next oil change is, and to get accurate gas milage, etc...

If u still want it to read in miles why dont u just get a cluster out of an si or ex and then just buy white face gauges. itll be cheaper than buyin the jdm cluster.

Re: (JSR)
Like it said above buy a usdm ex or si cluster. open it up and swap the odometers with your existing. then you will have the 9k tach w/ 7200 redline and you will retain your original mileage

You are better off getting a cluster from a USDM Civic VX, LX, EX, or Si. All of these clusters have tachs; the LX cluster would have the proper redline for your stock DX engine (6500 RPM). Just swap the speedometer/odometer unit from your current cluster into the new one to maintain correct mileage.
