Default ZC No start

Alright, after finally getting my zc swap all put together i can't figure out why it won't start, it cranks but won't turnover. Does anyone have any ideas for where to start checking?

Getting fuel, found out the hard way when i noticed fuel shooting out the banjo fitting on the fuel rail cause i didn't put the little metal gasket in. Not sure how to check for spark though.

Have someone crank the motor and take off one of the spark plug wires on the disributor while cranking..You should see spark..If there is no spark the 1st thing to do is check the coil..Make sure its installed correctly and not fucked up

Are there any other factors? I haven't wired the CAS and I haven't pluged up that vacuum hose in the back of the engine compartment.

You'll need to check timing as well. Fuel and spark don't mean **** if they aren't meeting each other at the right time.

also, you need the same engine harness off of your stock engine... when i did my swap i had an si harness on my zc at first and had the same problem, when i changed to my hf harness on the zc it started right up... who would have though.... that would have saved me like 10 hours of trouble shooting

I have the same harness already. Initially I'd have to say its the spark, it just seems like I'm not getting a spark. I had to repin my dist. harness so I'll check that first thing tomarrow, I want to drive this thing.

You haven't wired the Cam Angle Sensor (CAS)?

Cool, how bad were the injectors? Would injector cleaner have cleaned them?

It starts, it runs and it revs really high when you first start it.

make sure your cables are in the right place and are still in good shape. i got mine from hmotors as well, everything was fine. make sure that the distributor is good. and the cap and rotor is in good shape. make sure its wired right. if you are in the L.A area, email me. i got spare ZC parts and im pretty handy when it comes to that. ive gone thru two in my rex and still got one in good shape.
