Default D15B Swap, Engine wont start :-(

Just swapped a 95 civic and put a D15B in it. Everything is wired up and good to go, nothing is out of place. We slapped a new distributor in it today because the one from the previous engine didn't line up. We're having some problems getting it to start now. The engine turns over just fine but it wont go. There's spark at all 4 plugs. If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking something is up with teh dizzy but not sure If it's possible to put it in backwards

If you re getting spark at all four plugs you might not have them in the right order or you are not getting fuel. I would check the spark plug order first then check if you are getting fuel.

To check the fuel you can get a NOID light at NAPA auto parts (only place I know that carries them) and unplug the wire harness from the fuel injector, and plug the NOID in to the injector harness.

we'll be checking all the ignition stuff tomorrow, as far as the fuel goes the light sounds like a good idea. i pulled off the fuel rail to make sure it wasn't plugged up and there was definately some gas in there under quite a bit of pressure thanks for the tip

Did you happen to also replace the timing belt? Timing might be off. I know whomever you bought the motor from may claim the motor has under 50k miles...but it's still not a bad idea to replace it.
