I have a sohc ZC engine on my crxSI how much PSI would be alright for the engine?

 

With what? Stock everything, stock fuel, what? Anyways, the limit on stock internals is usually in around ~210whp, give or take on the D16A6.

 

All depends on the tuning and the initial health of the engine. An untuned engine could blow with as little as 5psi. A tuned d16a6 can probably go as high as 8-12 psi safely with a good ems. There is a guy on here from Puerto Rico that is boosting his d16a6 with a ton of boost and nitrous I believe. His sn is cap_og or something like that. As I said before it all depends on tuning and the health of the engine.

well if the motor is stock and its your only car i wouldnt go over 7psi. everybody says that they are good up to 200whp but thats the limit, so i wouldnt want to go too close to that if this is your only car.

 

i drive at 5psi and when i wanna race a lil i do maybe 8psi thats on my stock dohc zc

 

My last set up on 7lbs made 170whp/160wtq. This time I'm just going to keep raising the boost until I break the 200 mark
