THAT SHIT IS ANOYING. WHAT THE FUCK
my idel response goes up and down. up and down. and **** is anoying. after a while heating up it stops. what the **** is it. and dont tell me a throttle body because that **** cant bust like that.
check your fast idle thermo valve, its on the t/b. You say it stops when the car is warm so that leads me to believe it the FITV not the IACV. Do a search for FITV, there is a thread that explains how to fix it, something like pull the cover off and screw back in the white plastic piece.

i had the same exact problem with my d16 coupe. i took the i acv off blew it out with a air compressor and the problem went away in a jiffy.

sounds like its a 99 percent chance its the fitv . if its under the throttle body there are 3- 10 mm bolts , then 2 coolant lines on the front of it , Once its removed , the end oposite where the coolant lines were theres a cover with two bolts , take that off . Inside there will be a whitish screw in there , tighten it all the way and put everything back together . I found it easier to connect the coolant lines before you bolt it back up . Idle should now be fine .
