2000 honda civic 4dr problem

Default 2000 honda civic 4dr problem

when you shift 2 sometimes it goes back to neutral by itself, what can be wrong?

Are we talking about Auto? Maybe your hitting it to far that it goes to neutral.

If im not correct in what your saying then tell someone and have them type it out correctly for you.

its a manual gearbox, let me see if i can explain myself better
imagine you are driving, you shift 1st and start accelerating, when you shift 2nd the shift comes in but it goes out back to neutral, and it happens also when you are shifting slow

So whenever you shift it pops out of gear? Does it happen in any other gears or only 2nd? Could be your syncomesh.
